Just like the convenience of a drive through Taco Bell, my skipper and I got to sit in the cockpit while guests Aly and Jamie created “made to order” Breakfast Crunch Wraps for us! No cooking for me this morning. This was paradise! I ordered mine with the works and ducked down into the galley just long enough to snap off a few photos.
One wrap per person should do the trick. So here are “guidelines” for making wraps for 4 people. Crunch wraps can be filled with anything you desire, but to be officially “crunchy”, the must-have is tortilla chips.

Jump to Recipe4 Mission Wraps
1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3-4 scrambled eggs
1/2 to 1 cup of:
– Sausage meat of your choice
– Olives
– Chopped avocado
– Onions
– Minced jalapeño peppers
– Cilantro
– Salsa
– Tortilla chips
Using Mission Wraps is the key to being able to fold the tortillas without cracking. They are made so they can be folded right out of the package without having to heat them up. Have a fry pan ready on the stove then layer the requested ingredients in a small pile right in the middle of a wrap. Don’t forget the tortilla chips!
Now comes the tricky part: folding the wrap into symmetrical, even, little folds. Somewhat like trying to fold a fitted sheet onto a V-berth… I was happy someone else was doing this. Presto!
Fry in a hot pan with a little bit of oil, folded side down for about 5 minutes.
Flip the wrap and fry for another 5 minutes. Serve hot!
