Ingredients
Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts
12Brussel sprouts
12Bacon slices,not too thick
⅔cupMaple syrup
¼cupBrown sugar
2-3tspCayenne pepper, or hot pepper of your choice
24Toothpicks
Dipping Sauce
½cupSour cream
1tbspDijon mustard
2tspHoney
Instructions
Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts
Mix the maple syrup, brown sugar and cayenne in a small bowl.
Preheat your oven to 400º or as hot as you can get it.
Trim the Brussel sprouts by cutting off the stem and outer leaves. Cut each brussel sprout in half.
Brush the bacon strips on one side with the maple syrup mixture. Cut the bacon strip in half.
Roll bacon around each Brussel sprout half with maple syrup on the inside. Secure with a toothpick. Brush the outside of the bacon with the remaining maple syrup mixture and place all on a non-stick foil lined pan.
Pop into your preheated oven for 20 minutes. Rotate and bake for another 15 minutes or until the bacon gets crispy.
Once crisped up, remove the bacon wrapped Brussel sprouts to a platter and let cool a bit before serving.
