Scandinavian Almond Cake
A delightful classic cake for any occasion
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 tsp Almond extract
- 2/3 cup Milk
- 1 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Stick butter, melted
Instructions
- Combine sugar, egg, almond extract and milk. Beat well. Add flour and baking powder and mix. Add melted margarine or butter and mix in.
- Pour batter into a cake pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350º for 40-50 minutes. Cool in pan before removing. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
